VI Brazilian Meeting on Raman Spectroscopy

EnBraER 2017 in numbers

The organizing committee for the 5th EnBraER received a total of 262 applications. Of these, three institutions stood out, representing approximately 30% of the total number of applications: UFMG (29 applicants) , USP (25 applicants) , and UFJF (24 applicants) . In addition to these three universities, the 5th EnBraER brought together 56 different research centers from across the country.

See below the distribution of entries in relation to the selected category:

The Multivariate Analysis mini-course offered on Sunday afternoon had 106 participants and the second mini-course of the event, the Horiba Raman School, had 83 participants.

Registrations effectively confirmed, that is, the number of participants present during the event in Campos do Jordão was 205 congressmen.

Registrations were divided into 58% male and 42% female participants.

The scientific section featured 189 submitted abstracts, 32 oral presentations of papers selected by the event's scientific committee, and 8 more presentations by invited researchers.

The exhibitors present at the V EnBraER were: HORIBA, RENISHAW, Photonics, Anton Paar, BRUKER, USBioSolutions and OceanOptics, B&WTEK and WITec.
